The purpose of this project is to have students understand the periodic table more easialy. By having the students think about the periodic table in a different way shows students how the periodic table can be put into different scinarios. Also when all of the projects are done then the students can look at other students projects and see how the patterns are related to the actual world.
A change I would make is that have a template of the size of the usual poster paper then all of the boxes would be uniform in size and then most every project would be easier to read.
Some advice I have for next years 8th graders is to have a little rough draft version of their periodic table because then when they are putting on the pictures on their periodic table then there would be no confusions.
